Two bodies were found in the Vasant Vihar area of Dehradun on Sunday morning. Considering the injury marks on the two bodies, it is suspected that the duo was hit by a speeding vehicle. It has been revealed so far that Dhasmana used to go for morning walks every day and Hemlata worked as a house help and used to go to work in the morning. The officials said that prima facie it appears, based on the injuries on both the bodies, they died due to serious injuries caused by a collision with a fast vehicle.
It is possible that a vehicle hit them in the morning and fled away from the scene. So far, police have found nothing else that suggests murder or something else. Howeve, both the bodies have been sent to the district hospital for post mortem to know the real cause of their death, the officials said. They said that the police have started an investigation from all angles and are taking action to gather evidence as per rules.
