The district police arrested 23-year old accused Arshad alias Bhura from Shahdara, Delhi and recovered a missing minor girl.The police has added section 363, 366 and 376 of Indian Penal Code and 5/6 POCSO Act in the registered case.The police is preparing to produce the accused in the court. In another case, the police recovered a missing woman from Bhalaswa Dairy in Delhi.
According to the police a local person lodged a first information report in Kotdwar police Kotwali on March 23 stating that his daughter had gone somewhere from home without informing.On this report the police registered a case against unknown under section 365 of IPC.The investigation of the case was given to sub inspector Mamta Makhloga. In the second missing person’s case, a complaint was filed by a local resident of Kotdwar on March 5 stating that his wife had gone somewhere from home without informing and was missing since then. The police registered a missing person case and investigation was handed over to sub inspector Pramod Kumar.
Searching for the missing minor, the police team on the tips from informers raided many places, but could not trace her.Then the police also conducted electronic surveillance and arrested the accused Arshad alias Bhura, a resident of Bijnor (UP) from Shahdara in Delhi and recovered the minor girl.
