A person was killed when a huge boulder fell from hill when road was being cut for the under- construction Helang Marwadi bypass on Monday. He succumbed on his way to the local health centre. The deceased was identified as Amar Singh (31) from Hoshiarpur district of Punjab.
He was a helper at the excavator being used in road cutting. Police said his family members had been informed of the death.
