Man dies in road accident in Mussoorie

A man died after the car he was travelling in reportedly went out of control on the Mussoorie-Jharipani Road on Friday. The officials informed that the accident occurred in the afternoon when the car reportedly lost control and broke through a parapet and fell from one road to another road below in Mussoorie. The impact destroyed the car and the driver also died at the spot.
The officials said that upon receiving information, police, fire services, 108 Ambulance and a team from the sub-district hospital reached the location. With the help of local people, the driver was pulled out of the vehicle and taken to the hospital. He was identified as Neeraj Singh, a resident of Dhanaulti, Tehri district.
Doctors declared him dead on arrival. The officials stated that the driver was brought to the hospital in a severely injured condition and had already died before reaching there. A serious head injury is suspected to be the cause of death. However, they clarified that the exact cause will be confirmed after the postmortem .
