The man-eating leopard which had kept villagers in terror in the Bhilangna range for the past four months was finally killed near Badon Gaon on Tuesday night by the forest staffer assisted by locals. The DFO,
Tehri forest division informed that three individuals had been killed by the big cat in the past four months in forests under Bhilangna range following which permission had been granted by the senior forest officers concerned to identify, trap/tranquilise, capture and even kill it as a last resort. Finally, a forest team assisted by the villagers had succeeded in killing the leopard near Badon Gaon at around 10 PM, he added.
