In latest news from Uttarakhand, in a ghastly crime, suspecting extra-marital affair, husband murdered wife by strangling and then slitting her throat with a piece of glass and then reached Civil Lines police station Roorkee to surrender. The officers of the Civil Lines police station Roorkee said that the couple had got married three months ago and the accused and the murdered woman were identified as Shadab and Sahiba respectively. It is further learnt that Shadab had taken his wife into forest areas in Kalyar and murdered her by throttling her and then slitting her throat. Shadab was arrested following his confession.
