In latest news from Uttarakhand, at least four of the BRO workers- buried in Friday’s avalanche that hit Mana village near Badrinath Dham in Chamoli district- have succumbed while the six choppers deployed by the rescuers have been searching for the five still missing. The Indian Army officials confirmed the casualties.
Notably, a total of 55 workers were buried under snow and debris after the avalanche struck a BRO-run construction camp.
