The Uttarakhand Congress has questioned the absence of the state minister for disaster management Dhan Singh Rawat from the affairs of the government in managing the pandemic of Covid-19.

Talking to the media persons at the Rajiv Bhawan here on Wednesday the spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress, Garima Dassauni said that the state is reeling under a disaster of Covid-19 and in such a situation the absence of the minister Dhan Singh Rawat from the meetings and other activities to tackle the pandemic is unfortunate. She claimed that the Minister is having time for all other activities but is not available for managing the Covid-19.

Dassauni said that the chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat should have involved the leaders of the opposition in the plans for controlling the menace of Covid-19 but he has failed to involve his ministers in it. The Congress leader also accused the state government for failing to contain the pandemic.
