Manhandling of Youth Congress leader- Congress holds protest at Pauri collectorate

The Congress party staged a protest rally against the misbehavior of Sub-district magistrate (SDM) Pauri Aakash Jhosi with the youth Congress leader Nitin  Bhist in Pauri on Monday.

 The party leaders and workers held a demonstration at the district collectorate and raised slogans against SDM and the Uttarakhand government. The Congress leader also staged Dharna on collectorate premises. The party leaders submitted a memorandum to the State Chief Minister through District Magistrate. The leader of the opposition (LoP) in the State assembly Yashpal Arya, Former MLA from Kedarnath Manoj Rawat, senior Congress leader Manish Khanduri, District Party President Vinod Negi, former block pramukh ( Kot)  Sunil Lingwal, and party workers assembled at the agency chowk of Pauri city at 10.30 AM and started the protest rally. The rally passed through the upper Bazar and ended at the collectorate gate. The Congress leaders said that SDM Aakash Joshi misbehaved with Nitin Bisht who was raising the voice for the boarding and lodging facility for the Agniveer candidates.   They demanded that strict action should be taken against SDM and the state government should suspend him immediately. The Congress leaders also wanted the case registered against Nitin Bisht to be withdrawn. 

Later the LoP Yashpal Arya and others met DM Vijay Jogdande and demanded action against SDM Joshi. The Congress leaders stressed that in the video it is clear that SDM  is misbehaving with Bisht and is pushing him.
