Mann ki Baat represents collective voice of India: CM

In latest news from Dehradun, after hearing the 110th episode of the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this popular radio programme is not just about the thoughts of an individual but of the nation as a whole, the voice coming from the soul of the country, singing paeans to the greatness of mother Bharati. These programmes not just enlighten but also inspire, he said and referred to his exhortation to the first-time voters to exercise their franchise for the country. He further said that the PM has spoken about a number of artistes of Uttarakhand in course of his monthly radio programmes and this has enabled the State’s unique folk culture and folk music reach out to the world. He said that the stringent anti-copying act and the uniform civil code have been enacted in the State thanks to the wholehearted support of and inspiration from the Prime Minister. He also spoke about the string of developmental projects which have ensured food security for the poor, empowered women and facilitated complete integration of Kashmir with India among numerous others.
