In good news for Uttarakhand, a daughter from the hills of Uttarakhand Manshi Negi, resident of Majothi village of Chamoli, has brought glory for the state by winning another gold medal in race walk (20KM) in the 82nd All- India Inter -University Athletic Meet 2023 held in Tamil Nadu. Mention worthy, Mansi has earlier won gold medals in the field of athletics at the national level. She had said she would be satisfied with nothing short of a gold medal in this sports meet and she has successfully acted on her resolution. The state is overwhelmed with joy with the sterling performance of its daughter.
