Mansi from Khatima selected in ISRO

In latest Uttarakhand news, keeping on with the trend of the State’s daughters bringing laurels in multiple realms, Mansi Rautela, resident of Amaun from Khatima of Udham Singh Nagar district, has been selected for M-tech Remote Sensing at the esteemed Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Mansi’s father Narendra Singh Rautela is a teacher in the Tharu Government Inter- College in Khatima. He was bestowed with the Shailesh Matiyani Award in recognition of his teaching excellence. Her mother is also a teacher. It is further learnt from her family sources that the family originally hails from Manan in Almora. Mansi is the granddaughter of Major Puran Singh Rautela.
Mansi completed her B Sc in Geology and M Sc in Remote Sensing and GIS. Following her selection, she will now study urban planning in ISRO. Notably, she is one of the six candidates selected from across the country by ISRO.
