Officers and jawans of the 9th independent brigade at Garhwal Scouts in Joshimath paid tributes to the martyrs of the Kargil war on the occasion of Vijay Diwas on Tuesday. The ex-servicemen who fought in the 1999 Kargil conflict also paid homage to their martyred comrades on the occasion. The courage of the soldiers and ultimate sacrifice made by the martyrs for the nation was recalled with pride and a sense of patriotism by the officers and jawans of the army here.
