Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma has not appeared before Dehradun police in connection with a case related to alleged abusive language used from the stage during a student union function at DAV PG College. Now the singer has once again contacted the police and requested more time. He has informed officials that he would appear after May 10.
Police had earlier issued a notice asking the singer to appear for questioning. Sharma had sought time and informed police that he would appear after April 28. However, he did not come before the police on the given date. Now again, he has informed officials that he will appear only after May 10.
The senior superintendent of police, Dehradun, Pramendra Dobal confirmed it. “The singer told police that he is unable to appear at present because of his professional events and busy schedule,” he informed.
