The students of journalism and mass communication of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University visited Doordarshan Kendra Dehradun on Saturday. The visit was organised for the last semester students of BJMC the university.
The students learnt about recording in the studio, happenings in the duty room, how the production control room works, how the server room helps in the telecast, news collection and its dispatch.
The officers of Doordarshan and the concerned personnel of various departments cleared the doubts of the students and helped a lot in understanding the working of electronic media.
On the occasion of the industrial visit, the programme head of Doordarshan Kendra, Taranjit Kaur and regional news head Raghvesh Pandey interacted with the students. The faculty members of the journalism department of the university were also among those present on the occasion.
