Dehradun mayor Saurabh Thapliyal on Friday inaugurated the newly completed retaining wall and grille construction works in Shanti Kunj and Krishna Vihar areas of Nehrugram ward. The works were completed by the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) as part of efforts to improve safety and civic infrastructure in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Thapliyal said that the civic body is working to strengthen civic amenities and promote development across the city. He said that the requirements of each ward are being identified and addressed on a priority basis. The mayor further said that special attention is being given to the quality and timely completion of development works. He added that the civic body would continue to undertake projects aimed at improving public safety and providing better facilities to residents.
