Dehradun mayor Saurabh Thapliyal met Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to discuss the city’s development priorities and strengthening of urban infrastructure. According to officials, the meeting on Tuesday focused on the effective implementation of public welfare schemes, improvement of civic amenities and key issues related to the provisional capital’s long-term urban growth. Various development proposals and city-level plans were also reviewed during the interaction.
Dhami appreciated the work being carried out by the municipal corporation and offered guidance to ensure continued progress in public interest, officials said. He also reiterated the State government’s commitment to supporting urban development initiatives and improving civic services across the State.
Thanking the CM for his support and guidance, Thapliyal said that the MCD will continue efforts to make Dehradun clean, beautiful and aligned with smart city objectives with the backing of the state government.
