After the State election commission issued the notification and schedule of the three-tier panchayat bypolls, the Dehradun district magistrate Sonika said that the model code of conduct enforced in the places where the bypolls would be held would remain in force till the counting process is completed. Notably, the voting for the bypolls would be held on October 5 and the counting would be held on October 7.
