In latest news from Doon, as the model code of conduct (MCC) enforced 83 days ago by the Election Commission ended, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is all set to review the functioning of all the important departments and clear things which remained stalled due to the MCC.
The State’s chief electoral officer BVRC Purushotttam said that 30 per cent of the seats of urban local bodies would be reserved for the OBC people. For this, the State’s municipality act will be amended and after the OBC reservation is ensured, the State will go for the ULB elections.
Besides, with the MCC being lifted, decks are now clear for recruitment to 950 posts in BRP-CRP.
