As part of measures to prevent dengue, further instructions were issued for fogging by sanitation workers of the Municipal Corporation of Roorkee (MCR).
The Roorkee mayor Gaurav Goel, municipal commissioner Nupur Verma and other officials spoke about the issue and stressed on aspects to be worked upon by the staff members to prevent dengue and raise awareness on the same.
They said that while various efforts are already underway against dengue, the citizens also need to be aware and do the needful to prevent water from stagnating in their surroundings.
