In latest news from Doon, to stop illegal mining and raise revenue from the authorized mining, the State administration has decided to install Mining Digital Transformation and Surveillance System (MDTSS) at 40 check dates across Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Informing this, the chief secretary Radha Raturi said that the installation would cost the government Rs 93 lakh.
