In latest news from Uttarakhand, a joint team of Jwalapur police and anti-narcotics task force (ANTF) arrested the operator of a medical store at Jwalapur in Haridwar district on the charge of storing and selling banned narcotic drugs. A case has also been filed against the accused under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. The drug inspector Anita Bharti said that they would continue to raid medical stores selling such banned drugs.
Meanwhile, the Haridwar district administration and the drug control department appealed to the people to inform them once such a case of selling banned narcotic drugs comes to their notice.
