Rain & gusty winds also likely in Dehradun today
The State meteorological centre has once again issued a warning (watch) regarding the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning, hail and gusty wind (40-50
kmph) likely to occur at isolated places in the State on Monday. Apart from this, light to moderate rain/thunderstorms are likely to occur at a few places in the State’s districts today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky today. Light to moderate rain/thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty wind (40-50 kmph) are likely to occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 37 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Sunday were 37.9 degrees Celsius and 24.8 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 37.4 degrees Celsius and 22.6 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 24.2 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 27.4 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. Light rain was reported in some places with 10 millimetres in Devidhura, 6.5 millimetres in Syunsi and 3.5 millimetres in Matela.
