The minimum temperature is likely to dip further in Dehradun and other parts of the State with moderate to dense fog also likely in some parts of the plains on Friday. According to the State meteorological centre, the minimum temperature in Dehradun is likely to be five degrees Celsius on Friday. According to the weather forecast, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State. The meteorological centre has also issued a warning regarding the likelihood of moderate to dense fog occuring in some parts of plains especially in the Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts on Friday.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to experience mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 23 degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Friday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Thursday were 22.9 degrees Celsius and 6.2 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 23.7 degrees Celsius and 5.5 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 13.6 degrees Celsius and 4.8 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 16 degrees Celsius and four degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
