Minister inspects upcoming Sainya Dham in Guniyalgaon

 Sainik Kalyan minister Ganesh Joshi visited the under construction Sainya Dham in Guniyalgaon on Saturday. In his visit the minister directed the officers to ensure that all the works of the last phase of the construction should be completed before its inauguration. 

He said that the Sainnya Dham is the dream project of the State government which is dedicated to the spirit of the Uttarakhand which is a Veer Bhoomi and shows its respect to the martyrs.

 He said that soon the government will finalise the date of the inauguration of the Sainya Dham. The minister added that the sacred soil from the courtyards of 1,734 martyrs of the State and the water from the pious rivers have been added in the Dham which makes the place important from the spiritual and cultural point of view. He expressed confidence that the people will visit the Sainya Dham to pay their respects to the martyrs like the famous Char Dham. 

The Soldier Welfare director brigadier (retd) Amrit Lal told the minister that the Union  Defence minister Rajnath Singh will felicitate the department during the upcoming National conclave 2025 in New Delhi. This award will be presented to the department for its effective implementation of the programmes of welfare and rehabilitation of ex-servicemen.

Expressing happiness the minister said that the award is not only an honour for the State government but is the honour of the brave soldiers and their family members. He said that the State government is committed to the welfare of the ex-servicemen, their families and the families of the martyrs.
