With the weather being clear in Uttarakhand, the Char Dham Yatra has been going on smoothly. Importantly, the State cabinet minister Rekha Arya is now on pilgrimage to Gangotri and Yamunotri. In the morning, she left for Yamunotri Dham with her family on foot. After having darshan of Maa Yamuna, she will leave for Uttarkashi and stay the night there. Then she will again embark on her pilgrimage to Gangotri.
As the weather has cleared in Kedarnath, the pilgrimage to the shrine continues unhindered. It is learnt that till 8 am 7454 passengers have left Sonprayag for Kedarnath.
In Rishikesh, the people are crowding around the counters for offline registration. Meanwhile, a group of pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have reached Rishikesh on their way to the char dhams. They were found queuing up at the registration counter, braving the scorching sun.
