Ministers to report after district tour to CM
Various issues were discussed and party programmes were finalised in the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party state core group held here on Saturday evening. Informing the media about the decisions taken in the meeting, the BJP State president Banshidhar Bhagat said that the issues of the farmers were discussed in the meeting and all the core group members unanimously opined that the party should now come in the election mode. The important initiatives of the BJP state government including facilitation of tap water connection in rural areas for Re one each were also discussed in the meeting. It was also decided that the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will himself guide the ministers about visiting areas in the districts they are in-charge of. The ministers will then visit the areas and report back to the chief minister within a month, said Bhagat.
Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, party state in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, co-in-charge Rekha Verma, cabinet minister Madan Kaushik, State minister Dhan Singh Rawat, senior leader Vijay Bahuguna and other members of the core group were also present in the meeting.
