The ace actor- known for versatility in roles, from high- energy dance numbers to many-dimensioned nuanced ones- Mithun Chakraborty is to be honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 70th National Film Awards Ceremony slated on December 8.
Sharing this, the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection Jury had decided to award the legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty for his iconic contribution to Indian Cinema.
