Expressing gratitude on behalf of the people of Bhimtal Assembly constituency limits to the chief minister and the health minister, the MLA, Bhimtal Ram Singh Kaira said that the hospitals in Okhalkanda, Dhari, Ramgarh and Bhimtal blocks would have ultrasound and X-ray facilities thanks to their efforts. “With this, my long-time endeavour has become fruitful,” he said. “With the hospitals remaining bereft of these essential facilities, the people have to go a long way to either Haldwani or Nainital for ultrasound and X-ray. I raised the issue several times in the Assembly, too,” he said.
He further said that the long-continuing problem would be solved soon with the initiatives of the chief minister and the health minister. “They made it clear that hospitals in every block would have ultrasound and X-ray machines. Radiologists will be appointed too to operate them. With problems on their way to being solved, the villagers are happy,” he stated.
