CM Dhami inspects the preparations of PM’s rally at Parade ground
Prime Minister Narendra Modi would give a boost to the election campaign of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttarakhand on December 4 from Dehradun. In an attempt to woo the people of Uttarakhand ahead of the crucial assembly election slated in early 2022, the PM is expected to make many important announcements during his visit. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami informed media persons here on Monday that the PM would lay the foundation stones of projects worth Rs 26,000 Crore and inaugurate works of Rs 4,000 Crore during his visit. In an attempt to make maximum benefit of the PM’s visit, the state unit of Uttarakhand BJP has thrown its full might to make the PM’s rally a huge success. The party has also given individual targets to the leaders of the party. The national president of the BJP J P Nadda too is keeping a close eye on the preparations for the visit of PM to Dehradun.
On Monday morning the CM Dhami made a visit to the Parade ground which is the venue of the PM’s rally. He was accompanied by the president of the state unit of the party Madan Kaushik, cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat, general secretary organisation Ajey Kumar, Inspector General (IG) intelligence Sanjay Gunjyal, district magistrate of Dehradun R Rajesh Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dehradun, Janmejaya Khanduri and other officers.
Dhami reviewed the security and other arrangements for the rally and gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned. The CM said that the PM’s rally would be historic and there is a huge enthusiasm among the party workers and the general public for the visit of Prime Minister Modi.
