Monsoon session: Covid-19 protocol to guide seating plan of members

The speaker of the Uttarakhand assembly Prem Chand Agarwal inspected the preparations of the monsoon session on Saturday. The session is commencing from August 23. He also overviewed the seating plan of the members which has been changed to follow the protocol of the Covid-19. Agarwal told the media persons that arrangements for 40 members have been made in the main hall of the house while 30 would sit in room number 107.
In the last session held in Dehradun, the room number 107 located in the Prakash Pant building was given the shape of a hall by merging three rooms. In this room the arrangements of TV screens and sound system have been. The speaker said that a sitting arrangement for the officers has been made in room number 120. Here also the proper arrangements for audio and video have been made. The speaker said that a waterproof tent would be erected inside the campus for the media persons. Here LEDs screens would be placed for telecasting live proceedings of the assembly.
The speaker checked the sound system during the inspection and directed the officials to ensure proper sanitation during the monsoon session.
The secretary (in charge) Mukesh Singhal, under Secretary Narendra Rawat, system officer Deep Chand, senior personal secretary Ajay Agarwal and others accompanied the speaker during the visit.
