Taking a stern view of the budget lapse in many schemes of the health minister Dhan Singh Rawat has directed that monthly review of the budget expenditures should be done in the health department. He said that it is generally seen that the approved budget by the department becomes lapse as it could not be spent. It affects execution of many important schemes. Rawat said that there is a tendency to spend the annual budget in the last months. He said that the orders for monthly review have been given to end this tendency.
