The meteorological department has predicted more rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand. The weather will remain cold due to fog in the plains. Many roads including Gangotri-Yamunotri highway have been closed due to snowfall as a result of which commuters are stuck at places. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the mountainous areas on Tuesday. Whereas, the weather will reportedly remain dry in the state on Wednesday and Thursday. Light to moderate fog is very likely to occur over plains especially in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar districts.
