Union Minister of State for Road transport and highways General (Retd) V K Singh arrived in Gunji area of the Pithoragarh district on Sunday and inspected the road construction activities by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). The area is located in the Beas valley and is near the Indo- China border.
The minister took information about the road construction work from BRO’s Chief Engineer Brigadier MNV Prasad. He also inspected the photo gallery related to road construction of BRO and encouraged all the officers and labourers of BRO working in the inaccessible and tough terrain. Other officers of the BRO were also present during the meeting.
