The Pauri district magistrate Vijay Kumar Jogdande has said that Pauri-Devprayag- Gajja- Jajaal motor road will be closed to traffic completely from July 25 to 27. This information has been communicated to the municipality, Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat. The district magistrate informed that during these three days, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) will evaluate the weight capacity of the bridge on kilometre one of the Pauri-Devprayag-Gajja-Jajaal motor road. According to Jogdande, the Pauri-Devprayag road will be remain closed for transportation for three days and the operation of traffic from Satpuli- Vyasghat- Devprayag will also be closed.The movement of vehicles will be allowed on the Kotdwar- Satpuli- Pauri- Srinagar road and transportation from Rishikesh to Devprayag-Pauri will remain closed while the traffic from Rishikesh will operate through Devprayag -Srinagar to Pauri.
