Micro Small Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSMEDI), Haldwani organised a seminar on MSME Competitive (Lean) scheme in collaboration with Kumaun Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) in Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district on Monday. On this occasion, the consultant of MSME Competitive (Lean) scheme Roshni dwelt in detail via video conferencing from Bengaluru on the features and facilities of the scheme and incentives being provided by the Centre. In his address, the deputy director, MSMEDI Haldwani Amit Mohan said that the local industries could make their mark in the global market, given the support being given by the MSME ministry for the exhibition of such products in the international trade fairs.
KGCCI president Ashok Basal said that the objective behind the launch of scheme by the MSME ministry is to enhance competition among the MSME units besides reducing wastage in manufacturing processes and cost of production while improving quality and customer satisfaction.
