Mushroom Girl accuses police of slackness in fraud case filed by her

Mushroom cultivator and entrepreneur Divya Rawat also popularly known as the Mushroom Girl, has alleged that the police are showing carelessness in the fraud case registered by her. Rawat met the Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Daleep Singh Kunwar on Tuesday and expressed her dissatisfaction at the ongoing investigation in the case.
Rawat said that she became a victim of a fraud of Rs 78 lakh after which she registered an FIR in the Nehru Colony police station on September 23. She claimed that the police are showing a lackadaisical approach in the investigation and have so far taken no action against the fraudsters.
Rawat also questioned the role of the investigating officer (IO) in the case and accused him of siding with the culprits. She told the SSP that her work and her mental peace is getting affected by it. Rawat said that she would meet the chief minister if no action is taken against the culprits in the case.
