Nainital Bank holds 102nd AGM

The 102nd annual general meeting of the Nainital Bank was presided over by its chairman NK Chari. The bank’s managing director and CEO Nikhil Mohan along with other directors including Binita Sah, Manoj Sharma, UC Nahta and Nilim Damodaran also attended the meeting. Addressing the shareholders, Chari informed about the international and national developments in financial year 2023-24 along with the activities of the bank.
The bank’s business in the financial year ending March 31, 2024 increased to Rs 13,086 crore in which the total deposits amounted to Rs 8,267 crore while the loan was Rs 4,819 crore. The net profit of the bank at the end of the financial year was Rs 47.10 crore which is higher than the previous financial year’s net profit of Rs 46.30 crore. He further informed that three new branches were opened during the financial year increasing the total number of branches to 171.
The MD and CEO informed about the works of the bank in the previous financial year along with the various schemes of the bank. The bank is using technology enabled tools to extend its operations to distant villages, Mohan said.
