Nanda Ghungti expedition aborted due to bad weather

Inclement weather forced the members of an expedition of Nanda Ghungti mountain peak to abort the mission midway. The seven member expedition team returned back after a snow storm hit them when they reached at an elevation of 5800 meters.
Located at an altitude of 6390 meters above the sea level, the Nanda Ghungti is situated in the North east of the Garhwal, Kumaon Himalayas. The expedition started on October 10 and ended on October 21 and it included seven mountaineers, Adil from Nainital, Nitin from Haridwar, Manoj from Wak, Dinesh and Kuldeep from village Sutol and Sunil and Kalam Singh Bisht from Mundali village of Chamoli.
