Nanki Sethi from Dehradun has been commissioned as a lieutenant in the Indian Army after completing her training at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
Lieutenant Sethi is the grand-daughter of lieutenant colonel (retd) Prahlad Sethi and daughter of colonel Hitesh Sethi who is serving in the eastern sector. Having done her schooling from NDS, Rishikesh and Brightlands in Dehradun, she also studied in APS Ambala Cantt and graduated from ILS Law College, Pune.
Expressing happiness at the development, her family members stated that she had carried forward the legacy by becoming the third generation to don the olive greens.
