Setting an example, the president of National Association for Parents and Students’ Rights (NAPSR) Arif Khan has sent relief material to the rain-affected settlements in Dehradun. He informed that heavy rains which later resulted in water logging had disturbed the life of people in the city.
Apart from this, the residents of slum areas of the city have reported facing major difficulties due to water logging. He informed that essential things of the people living in slum areas got spoiled. Regarding this, the NAPSR and many other social workers have undertaken an initiative to provide clothes and household items to needy people, he added.
He further said that he would like to thank the social worker Gajendra Ramola who made sure to provide the essential items to the needy people at the right time.
