In pursuance of government orders, Dr MS Nayal has been promoted to the post of the director of animal husbandry. Currently, he is the chief executive officer of the Uttarakhand Livestock Development Board.
He assumed charge as the animal husbandry director on retirement of the previous director Dr KK Joshi on April 30. Additional director Dr Prem Kumar, Uttarakhand sheep and wool development board CEO Dr Avinash Anand and other officials of the directorate were also present on the occasion.
