NCC cadets of SGRR University who represented Uttarakhand in R-Day parade felicitated

The NCC cadets of Shri Guru Ram Rai University who represented Uttarakhand in Republic Day (RD) parade in New Delhi this year were felicitated on Wednesday at Shri Darbar Sahib by Mahant Devendra Dass, the head of Shri Darbar Sahib, with cash rewards and citation letters. 

Notably, NCC student of Shri Guru Ram Rai University Sagar Kumar had led the Uttarakhand contingent at the RD parade. Along with him, NCC cadets Aman Dimri, Vivek Rawat and Harshita Kandari of SGRR University had represented the State at the parade.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Devendra Dass said that it was a matter of great pride for them all that NCC cadet of SGRR University, Sagar Kumar had got the opportunity to lead the contingent sent by Uttarakhand at the RD parade.

Among others Lieutenant Khilendra Singh and Lieutenant Anushka Kala were present at the felicitation ceremony.
