In latest news from Doon, in good news for the school and college students joining the NCC in the State, the minister Dhan Singh Rawat announced four-time hike in laundry and polish allowances of the cadets. As per the announcement, the allowance has been hiked from the earlier Rs 10 to Rs 41 and this amount will be deposited straight into their bank accounts. Rawat further said that the government order would be passed soon in this matter.
