Need to use experience of senior citizens, says Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that it is important to know and listen to the experiences of senior citizens so that people can stay connected to their roots. He said that it is necessary to use the experiences of seniors to strengthen the social structure.
The CM said this in a programme organised at his camp office in Champawat on Saturday. He interacted with the senior citizens and the general public on the occasion.
The CM heard the grievances of the people and directed the officers concerned to take necessary action for solving the problems of the people. He said that simplification and speedy solutions is the basic mantra of the State government.
Terming the senior citizens a treasure trove of experiences, the CM said that since they have seen every aspect of life and faced every situation, the senior citizens have the unique ability to find solutions to problems. The CM said that many services are being provided online by the government. The welfare policies and schemes of all departments have been brought on online mode due to which the people are spared the ordeal of making rounds of the government offices.
The district Panchayat head Jyoti Rai, position holder Ganesh Bhandari and senior officers of district administration attended the programme.
