Newly elected heads of DCBs meet CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the newly elected chairpersons of the district cooperative banks at the State secretariat on Friday. Expressing his wishes, the CM said that the cooperatives are playing a vital role in strengthening the State’s rural economy. ” DCB’s are an important means of connecting farmers, villagers, women and youth to banking services as well as promoting self-employment and economic activities,” he sais.

Those who met the CM included chairman of DCB Dehradun, Manjit Rawat, chairman DCB Chamoli, Gajendra Singh Rawat, chairman DCB Kotdwar Pankaj Rawat, chairman of DCB  Tehri Subhash Chand Ramola and Chairman of DCB Bijendra Singh Chaudhary. All of them have recently been elected unopposed in the elections of DCBs.

Cabinet ministers Khajan Das and Ram Singh Kaida were also present on this occasion.
