The newly elected MLA of Kedarnath Asharani Nautiyal took oath in Vidhan Sabha on Saturday. The Speaker Ritu Khanduri administered oath of secrecy and office to Nautiyal. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, cabinet minister Premchand Agarwal, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt and other leaders were present on the occasion.
Nautiyal has been elected to the Assembly for third time. She was elected to the Assembly from Kedarnath in the years 2002 and 2007. In the just concluded bypoll she defeated her Congress party rival Manoj Rawat to enter Vidhan Sabha for third time.
Interacting with the media after the oath taking ceremony, Nautiyal said that she will complete the works initiated by her predecessor in the constituency. She said that she will serve the constituency with dedication.
