As part of the raids being conducted across the country, the National Investigation Agency team has reached Ratanpur village under Bajpur police station area of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. It is learnt that the NIA team reached the house of Gurvinder Singh’s son Lakhwinder Singh in the village at around 5 am to investigate the terror funding case.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has so far raided 122 locations across the country. The states where raids were conducted included Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and now Uttarakhand. It is further learnt that these raids are being conducted on those people who are suspected to be linked to the Khalistani terror network. The focus of these raids is trained on the nexus between the drug smugglers and the terrorists.
