Denying the claim made by the Congress party, the urban development minister Prem Chand Agarwal clarified on Tuesday that there is no plan to set up an integrated township in Doiwala. Interacting with the media persons on Tuesday the minister said that there is no plan to acquire land of the farmers in Doiwala for the township. He however added that the government has prepared a Zonal plan for the development of the area. The minister averred that the Zonal plan will be prepared only after holding deliberations with the farmers and locals. Agarwal said that for development of the area infrastructure facilities such as roads, sewage, water and electricity will be created in the area.
