Now, widowed daughters in law are eligible for getting state government jobs if they are the only dependents of the deceased government servants. Required changes have been made by the department of personnel in the matter. Till now, it is the wife or the husband, son, daughter, unmarried brother or unmarried sister dependant on the deceased or widowed mother who are considered eligible for such jobs. But now a new order has been passed by the department of personnel by which the widowed daughter in law of the deceased has been made eligible.
Notably, the decision was taken during the cabinet meeting held in Bharadisain earlier this month presided over by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
